“Innovation and the creative economy are inseparable. Head of the DKI Jakarta Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda), Atika Nur Rahmania, described Jakarta Innovation Days as a festive moment for innovators—a vast canvas where all stakeholders, including government, academia, communities, and industry players, can collaborate. This year, JID once again reaffirms its role in positioning Jakarta as a shared space that facilitates ideas, talent, creative works, and new economic growth opportunities for the younger generation.
Kevin Widaya, representing the implementing partner of JID 2025, highlighted the potential of Dukuh Atas, which has long been known primarily as a transit point. Through JID, he explained, the area can evolve into an urban space where young people feel encouraged to gather, create, and experience a public space that truly serves as their playground.
