Minister of Creative Economy/Head of the Creative Economy Agency, Teuku Riefky Harsya, receives a delegation from Local Champion Indonesia (LCI) at the Ministry of Creative Economy Office in Jakarta on Thursday, July 2, 2026.
Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky Harsya stated that expanding the global presence of Indonesian brands requires a comprehensive approach that goes beyond improving product quality.
"It also requires stronger design, branding, packaging, standardization, and intellectual property support so that more Indonesian local brands can compete successfully in international markets," said the Minister during a meeting with LCI at the Ministry of Creative Economy Office in Jakarta on Thursday (July 2).
During the discussion, the Minister outlined several areas for collaboration, including capacity-building through the ASIK program, strengthening export standardization and market intelligence, facilitating intellectual property-based financing, and curating export-ready local brands. The Ministry also introduced opportunities for collaboration through its Creative Village, Creative Hub, and Creative by Indonesia initiatives.
