Ministry of Creative Economy and OJK Introduce Infinity Accelerator for Hackathon Winners

Jakarta, 14 April, 2026 – The Ministry of Creative Economy/Creative Economy Agency (Ekraf) continues to strengthen its strategic collaboration with Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK) to enhance access to financing for the creative economy sector, particularly those based on intellectual property (IP). One of the follow-up initiatives is the Infinity Accelerator program for the top 10 participants from the hackathon.

Minister of Creative Economy, Teuku Riefky Harsya, held a meeting with Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK) and selected representatives of the Infinity Accelerator program at the Ministry of Creative Economy Office, Jakarta, on Tuesday (14/4/2026).

Minister Teuku Riefky emphasized that OJK plays a crucial role in building the foundation of the sector. Moreover, cross-institutional synergy is key to addressing major challenges, particularly access to funding for creative practitioners.

“The support from OJK has been extraordinary. As a newly established ministry, we require ecosystem strengthening, especially in terms of financing access. OJK has demonstrated progressive steps, including encouraging the role of state-owned banks (Himbara) and strengthening various collaborative schemes that are currently ongoing,” he stated during the meeting with OJK at the Ministry of Creative Economy Office, Jakarta, on Tuesday (14/4).

Chief Executive of Financial Technology Innovation Supervision, Digital Financial Assets, and Crypto Assets at OJK, Adi Budiarso, assessed that synergy between ministries and institutions will serve as a new driving force for national economic growth.

“I see that synergy with the Ministry of Creative Economy will become a driver of future economic growth. This is a concrete step in supporting development financing targets. In addition to banking, we are also encouraging MSME financing through alternative credit scoring as well as new innovations such as tokenization emerging from this collaboration,” he explained.

As a follow-up, on March 31, 2026, the Infinity Accelerator program was launched as a continuation of the previous hackathon. The program aims to drive the downstreaming of innovation into business models that are ready to receive financing, involving ten selected entities from various creative subsectors.

The program is set to be implemented with the top 10 participants, namely Kraflab, Libere, Wandersun, Invisible Fund, Alterfun, Nanofi, Khuga, Creo Engine, Reporamp, and Kollect. Infinity Accelerator bridges blockchain technology with financial policy, aiming to create an intellectual property (IP) market that is liquid and investment-ready.

Deputy for Digital Creativity and Technology, Muhammad Neil El Himam, emphasized that the initiative is not merely a conceptual program, but an integrated system that connects the creative process through to the investment stage.

“Today, this is not just a program on paper, but an end-to-end pipeline in developing intellectual property into economic assets—from ideation, validation, to investment readiness. Moving forward, the focus is to strengthen this pipeline through policy and regulatory support in collaboration with OJK,” he stated.

Meanwhile, Executive Director of the Department of Regulation and Licensing for Financial Technology Innovation, Digital Financial Assets, and Crypto Assets, Djoko Kurnijanto, explained that the hackathon program focuses on developing solutions based on digital and decentralized technologies for the creative economy sector.

“This hackathon focuses on innovative Web3-based solutions to encourage idea exploration and produce prototypes or proof of concept. Going forward, we encourage tokenized assets to not only be physical but also include intangible assets,” he explained.

Through this collaboration, the Ministry of Creative Economy remains optimistic about accelerating the transformation of intellectual property into economically valuable assets, while also expanding access to financing for creative economy actors in Indonesia.

Also present were Director of OJK Digital Financial Innovation Group, Ludy Arlianto, as well as representatives from the ten selected participants of the Infinity Accelerator program, including Libere’s Erdy Suryadarma, Invisible Fund’s Vito Wira, and Alterfun’s Nico Alyus.
