Jakarta, 8 October 2025 – The Ministry of Creative Economy, together with the Financial Services Authority (OJK), officially launched the OJK–Ekraf Hackathon 2025. Deputi Bidang Digital dan Teknologi, Muhammad Neil El Himan, memberi sambutan pada peluncuran program OJK-Ekraf Hackathon 2025, Jakarta, Rabu (08/10/2025).
Held at the OJK office, the OJK–Ekraf Hackathon 2025 carries the theme “Accelerating the Creative Economy through Digital Innovation and Decentralization.” This initiative serves as a concrete follow-up to the memorandum of understanding signed between the Ministry of Ekraf and OJK on 24 April 2025.
The hackathon is also supported by the Indonesian Blockchain Association (ABI) and the developer community BlockDevID as a form of cross-sector synergy in building a strong digital technology foundation for the national creative economy ecosystem. Through this event, participants are encouraged to innovate and develop technologies that expand access to financing, strengthen digital copyright protection, and improve supply chain transparency for creative products.
Deputy Minister for Digital Creativity and Technology of the Ministry of Creative Economy, Muhammad Neil El Himam, emphasized that the hackathon is expected to serve as a bridge towards intellectual property-based financing ecosystems in the creative economy sector.

Deputy Minister Neil added that blockchain has the potential to become the internet of value capable of laying the foundation for a fair, inclusive, and globally competitive future for Indonesia’s creative economy. “Together, we will realize blockchain as the foundation for a world-class Indonesian creative economy,” he affirmed.
