Ministry of Creative Economy Applauds Best Body Kit at Passion Drift Awards 2025

Bogor, 23 November 2025 – The Ministry of Creative Economy/Creative Economy Agency once again demonstrated its commitment to developing the creative industry, including the automotive design sector, by presenting an award in the Best Body Kit category at the Passion Drift Awards 2025 held in Sentul, Bogor, Sunday, 23 November 2025. The award highlights the creations of young Indonesian talents that enhance the aesthetic value and character of racing vehicles.

“Attractive design touches and creativity can give a distinctive character to the cars driven during the 2025 Passion Drift Challenge National Championship. Through various initiatives, the Ministry of Creative Economy consistently demonstrates a collaborative spirit for future achievements,” said Director of Architecture and Design, Sabar Norma Megawati Panjaitan.

The Best Body Kit award was given to Farrel Rafellyno, a drifter who applied the Rocket Bunny concept to his car. His victory in the exterior design category was achieved due to the modification style inspired by Japan, featuring extreme designs and wide overfenders commonly used on sports and racing cars.

“Thank you to the Ministry of Creative Economy for this award for me and the Subaru Garasi Drift Team. With the Rocket Bunny car design, we used a Subaru BRZ and chose blue to showcase the best design. Moving forward, I hope to remain consistent and earn even more awards,” said 15-year-old Farrel, who also finished fourth in the Pro 2 class at this year’s national championship.

A similar sentiment was expressed by Best Car award recipient Danny Ferdito Satyawanda, who also finished as runner-up in the Pro class at the third series of the 2025 Passion Drift Challenge. He believes that the results from this national championship reflect healthy competition and strong rivalries.

“The national championship, now in its third round, continues to show progress and excellence, from the organizers’ management to the participants’ performances. We hope for more competitions in the future, and participants need to prepare their cars and practice extensively to find the right feel and settings. Before races, we also prepare spare parts in case of accidents and ensure that the car specifications are strong enough for competition,” said Danny Ferdito.

At the same venue, Sentul Otopark manager Alvito Anugrah Hardianto highlighted the wide collaboration opportunities for the annual 2025 Drift National Championship.

“This year we held three series, including practice, qualifying day, and the race day or final round. From the circuit, participants’ cars, to food and beverage tenants, everything was prepared to enhance business value. The 2025 Drift National Championship exceeded expectations, with higher event quality, more participants, and increased sponsorship, which encourages everyone to compete at their best,” said Alvito, who is also a drifter for the Kendali Racing Team in the PRO class.

In addition to the Passion Drift Awards 2025, the National Drift Challenge Championship has also been held as a competition emphasizing drifting, a technique where the rear wheels lose traction while remaining controlled, combining skill, speed, and adrenaline. The championship also fosters cross-sector industry collaboration and demonstrates tangible contributions to the national economy.

“Actually, the national championship aims to identify new talents among racers, which this year reached 55 participants. The Sentul Circuit has accommodated the enthusiasm of racers, with racing, slalom, and drifting events, each with their own classes to compete for the national title. We also prepared tenants for MSMEs to participate and foster a more vibrant economy,” said Didi Hardianto, President Director of Sentul International Circuit.
