Yokohama, December 16, 2025 — The Ministry of Creative Economy / Creative Economy Agency (Ministry of Creative Economy / Creative Economy Agency), through the Directorate of Architecture and Design, continues to encourage the strengthening of the product design subsector through custom culture modification to compete at the global level. This support is reflected in the success of Kustomfest Indonesian Attack 2025, which took part in the 33rd Yokohama Hot Rod Custom Show 2025 at Pacifico Yokohama, Japan, on December 7, 2025.
Kementerian Ekonomi Kreatif mendorong penguatan subsektor desain produk melalui modifikasi kustom kultur. Keberhasilan kustom kultur Indonesian tampil di ajang 33rd Yokohama Hot Rod Custom Show 2025 di Pacifico Yokohama, Jepang, Minggu (7/12/2025).
“This achievement demonstrates that Indonesian custom culture players are capable of presenting world-class creativity and innovation. The Ministry of Creative Economy will continue to encourage market expansion, cross-sector collaboration, and the strengthening of the positioning of Indonesian creative works on the global stage, so that this subsector grows sustainably and becomes the new engine of growth,” said Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky Harsya on Tuesday, December 16, 2025.
Through the Indonesian Attack 2025 program, Kustomfest brought five custom motorcycles created by Indonesian builders from various regions to compete with hundreds of international participants, while also serving as a representation of the strength of Indonesian custom culture at the global level. One Indonesian work, Stiletto Dagger by Kromworks, succeeded in winning the Best Domestic Motorcycle Award, while all Indonesian motorcycles also received the Mooneyes COOL Pick Award, a special recognition from Mooneyes Japan.

Deputy for Cultural and Design Creativity at the Ministry of Creative Economy, Yuke Sri Rahayu, stated that this achievement confirms the potential of the product design subsector through Indonesian custom culture modification to compete in the global market.
“Kustomfest serves as a quality curation stage for Indonesian design and custom culture practitioners, while also opening access to strategic international networks,” she said.
Meanwhile, Kustomfest Director Lulut Wahyudi emphasized that the Indonesian Attack program serves as a strategic bridge for Indonesian builders to elevate their capacity and connect with international custom networks.

“Through Indonesian Attack, we do not merely attend, but arrive with works as a form of a creative ‘attack’. This becomes a stepping stone for Indonesian builders to test their quality and demonstrate that Indonesia possesses creativity and taste that are fully competitive on the global stage,” said Lulut Wahyudi.
