“The participation of Tegar is a source of pride and a tangible demonstration that film can be the new engine of growth. By strengthening the capacity of the creative ecosystem, Indonesian works not only entertain but also convey a powerful message to the world,” said Minister of Creative Economy Riefky on Friday, 3 October 2025.
The Silk Road Film Festival 2025 was held in Fuzhou, China from 22–26 September 2025. Tegar’s presence showcased the capability of Indonesian filmmakers to compete on the global stage while strengthening cross-border collaboration and the national film ecosystem toward the vision of Golden Indonesia 2045.
Tegar tells the story of Satria Tegar Kayana, a child with physical limitations striving to gain access to education. Since 2022, this inclusion-focused film has been screened in 24 countries, making it one of the most widely distributed Indonesian children’s films worldwide.

Director and producer Anggi Frisca emphasized that Tegar delivers a universal message about equal opportunities for all children. Producer Dr. Chandra Sembiring added that children’s films play a strategic role in nurturing future generations while promoting inclusive collaboration across countries.
In addition to film screenings, Anggi Frisca presented an Indonesia–China co-production project themed on dreams, technology, and friendship, symbolized by the Jakarta–Bandung High-Speed Railway—an initiative expected to expand creative networks between the two countries and strengthen the growth of the creative economy.

The success of Tegar paves the way for its sequel, Teman Tegar: Maira (Whisper from Papua), which explores friendship, courage, and environmental conservation in Papua, scheduled for release at the end of 2025. Through these works, Aksa Bumi Langit, operating as a Movie Laboratory Ecosystem since 2014, promotes IP-based films that expand into music, books, merchandise, and community movements, making film a medium for learning and social change.
