“Art Party demonstrates that the fusion of the automotive world with playful sticker art can create a complementary collaboration. This combination represents a ‘marriage’ between two subsectors—or two industries—that are both significant in scale. It truly reflects the President’s message about the importance of eliminating sectoral egos,” said Deputy Minister of Creative Economy Irene Umar when opening Art Party 2025 on Saturday, December 6, 2025.
Art Party 2025 features 123 curated tenants and more than 170 artists, ranging from illustrators and sticker designers to independent brands. The festival, taking place over two days, also presents a moto art show, various interactive activities, and community gathering spaces, reflecting the growing public interest in the visual arts industry.
According to the Deputy Minister, creativity not only produces artistic works but also forms identity and new economic strength. She emphasized that today’s younger generation is no longer merely consumers, but cultural drivers who actively shape the direction of Indonesia’s creative economy.
“Our young people are culture shapers. They do not only bring their works, but also energy, perspectives, and a new spirit that enriches the creative industry,” she added.

Through the Directorate of Intellectual Property Facilitation Development, the Ministry of Creative Economy also set up a dedicated IPR consultation booth at the event. This booth provides assistance related to the protection of creative works, IPR strategies, and steps to ensure the sustainability of the economic value of creative assets. The Deputy Minister highlighted the importance of IPR awareness as part of the professionalization of creative work.
“We invite creators to engage directly in discussions on intellectual property, because protecting creative works is key to strengthening Indonesia’s creative competitiveness—not only at the national level, but also globally,” she explained.
The Ministry of Creative Economy views Art Party as a best-practice example of an urban creative festival that provides market access, capacity building, and inclusive collaboration spaces. In line with the vision of creative economy development, the event is expected to further strengthen Indonesia’s creative community networks and give rise to new talents capable of competing at both national and global levels.
