Ministry of Creative Economy Encourages Women's Participation in the Digital Creative Economy through the Emak-Emak Matic Program

Jakarta, February 23, 2025 – The Ministry of Creative Economy continues to promote women's participation in the digital economy through the Emak-Emak Matic (Tech-Savvy Moms) program. This initiative is held in collaboration with Tribelio, a digital platform that helps content creators, brands, and business owners build strong communities.

Kemenekraf dorong partisipasi perempuan dalam ekonomi digital demi membangun komunitas yang kuat melalui program Emak-Emak Matic!, Jakarta (23/02/25).

Under the theme "Empowering Women in the Creative Economy for Poverty Alleviation," the program aims to create a more inclusive digital creative economy ecosystem by empowering women through technology.

The event, held at Mandiri University, Jakarta, was attended by the Deputy Minister of Creative Economy/Deputy Head of the Creative Economy Agency, Irene Umar. In her speech, Irene revealed that the Emak-Emak Matic program originally started as a board game from Salatiga before evolving into a mobile game.

"Emak-Emak Matic started as a board game from Salatiga that later developed into a mobile game, and Ministry of Creative Economy is using it as a promotional tool to introduce the creative economy more widely," said Irene.

Ministry of Creative Economy incorporated the creative economy logo into the game as an innovation in the digital creative industry, as well as a promotional tool for local products. Irene added that the program is expected to become a platform for women to engage in affiliate marketing and create economically valuable creative content.

"Emak-Emak Matic is expected to be a driving force for Indonesian women in the digital industry. Through this program, women will not only become technology users but also active players in content creation and business opportunities," she added.

Additionally, the event featured training sessions and interactive discussions on digital marketing strategies, social media optimization, and the use of digital platforms for business development. With support from Tribelio, participants gained access to various tools and resources to build stronger and more sustainable business communities.

Ministry of Creative Economy aims to increase women's participation in the digital economy in more than 40 cities across Indonesia by the end of 2025. This initiative is expected to have a significant impact on creating a more inclusive and sustainable creative economy ecosystem.
