Jakarta, July 31, 2025 — Minister of Creative Economy, Teuku Riefky Harsya, received a courtesy visit from Ary Ginanjar Agustian, Founder of ESQ Leadership Center, to explore strategic collaboration through Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based talent mapping technology. This meeting marks a concrete first step in following up the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Ministry of Creative Economy and the Ministry of Cooperatives, particularly in strengthening cooperative-based human resources and supporting the Koperasi Desa Merah Putih (Red and White Village Cooperatives) program.
Kementerian Ekraf dan ESQ Dorong Penguatan SDM Ekraf Koperasi Melalui AI, Jakarta, Kamis (31/07/2025).
“Regarding Koperasi Desa Merah Putih, we have signed an MoU with the Ministry of Cooperatives to encourage young people to become affiliates of creative products. They can generate income for themselves and for cooperatives. With this software, we can map their talents to ensure more precise and productive assignments,” said Minister Teuku Riefky at Autograph Tower, Jakarta, on Thursday, July 31, 2025.
Minister Teuku Riefky emphasized that this talent mapping software also supports the ministry’s mission to strengthen data on workers in the creative economy sector, in line with one of the Asta Ekraf pillars, namely Ekraf Data. This mapping is essential to serve as a guideline for the government.
“In the past, people were busy searching for mining maps; now we need maps of creativity—what strengths exist in each district. That is what we must prepare,” Minister Teuku Riefky stated.

During the meeting, the ESQ team demonstrated their AI Talent Management system. With a simple and intuitive interface, the system enables users from various backgrounds to map competencies quickly and efficiently.
Ary Ginanjar Agustian, Founder of ESQ and initiator of the system, explained that the technology is designed to help institutions such as the Ministry of Creative Economy “find a needle in a haystack,” uncovering hidden creative talent that may not be visible through conventional approaches.
“Many talent remain unreached because they are not recorded. We are ready to collaborate with the Ministry of Creative Economy, both to support internal talent mapping within the ministry and as an external mapping tool, including for the cooperative sector,” Ary said.

Founded in 2000, ESQ Leadership Center is a human resource training institution that integrates intellectual, emotional, and spiritual aspects. To date, ESQ has trained more than 1 million alumni, including teachers, students, and professionals from various sectors. The AI Talent Management system is ESQ’s innovation in addressing human resource development challenges in the digital era.
Through this collaboration, the Ministry of Creative Economy aims to accelerate the mapping and placement of creative economy talent across cooperatives and business ecosystems, strengthening the competitiveness of Indonesia’s creative economy at both national and global levels.
