Kementerian Ekraf Tindaklanjuti Audiensi dengan Emtek, Buktikan Akselerasi Kreatif Subsekor Film ke Pasar Digital Asia Tenggara, Jakarta, Rabu (06/08/2025).
This initiative is a follow-up to the meeting between the Ministry of Creative Economy and the Emtek Group on Tuesday, June 3, 2025. The AKTIF program for the film subsector serves as a concrete step by the government to foster the growth of the national film industry.
Minister of Creative Economy, Teuku Riefky Harsya, stated that this program reflects the tangible realization of hexahelix collaboration between the government and the media industry in accelerating the development of the film subsector.

“The creative economy is not only born from ideas but grows through collaboration. Film, as a medium of creative expression, must be developed with real support from the ecosystem, including the media as a strategic partner,” said the Minister.
He added that local filmmakers have significant potential to reach both national and international markets.
“Many works from local talents across the region deserve to be showcased on the global stage. Through this program, we aim to help them break boundaries, expand networks, and access wider, more competitive distribution channels,” Minister Teuku Riefky added.

The Creative Acceleration program for the film subsector was held throughout June 2025, built upon four main pillars: curation, training, distribution, and promotion. The curation and training activities were carried out in collaboration with the Indonesia Digital Media Institute (Indepark Institute), an educational unit under Emtek that involves professional mentors from the digital media industry.
Content distribution was carried out through the Vidio platform, featuring eight selected works that will be showcased exclusively. The Ministry of Creative Economy and Emtek also ensured transparent monetization mechanisms by opening official creator accounts, allowing fair and accessible revenue sharing. Meanwhile, content promotion was strengthened through Emtek’s digital network under its business unit, Emtek Digital (EMD).

He emphasized the importance of program continuity to ensure that the works developed through the initiative continue to grow and evolve sustainably. The Ministry of Creative Economy hopes this program will become a launching point for young filmmakers to advance to the next level.
