Throughout 2025, the Emak-Emak Matic and GenMatic programs successfully reached 2,637 participants across eight regions, namely Malang, Jakarta, Bogor, Solo, Balikpapan, Kediri, Bali, and Tangerang. Moving forward, the Ministry of Creative Economy / Creative Economy Agency will also expand this program so that it can reach an even broader segment of society.
“ This collaboration is a concrete step in implementing the President’s Asta Cita, particularly in building people’s economic independence through a creative economy based on digital technology. We are also ready to expand into other segments, such as Santri Matic, as the Government seeks to continuously support economic empowerment in Islamic boarding schools for both male and female students, including their teachers,” he explained.
On that occasion, the Ministry of Creative Economy / Creative Economy Agency together with Shopee presented appreciation awards to nine outstanding participants in the categories of Shopee Sellers, ShopeeFood Merchants, and Affiliates within the Emak-Emak Matic and GenMatic Training Program 2025 as part of efforts to strengthen the digital creative economy talent ecosystem.
