During the visit, the Deputy Minister of Creative Economy and delegation were invited to directly observe the operational processes of PT Bintang Sempurna as a digital printing solutions provider that has been operating for more than three decades and has received international recognition. High-technology facilities and an integrated service approach position the company as one of the most comprehensive printing centers in Indonesia.
The Director of Publishing and Photography of the Ministry of Creative Economy, Iman Santosa, expressed appreciation for Bintang Sempurna’s capacity to support creative processes, particularly in the visual sector. “Bintang Sempurna is not only a one-stop shopping destination for research and printing, but can also serve as a kind of ‘printing museum’ that inspires creative practitioners. The print quality is on par with international products, and this should be able to become among the best in the world,” he stated.

CEO of Bintang Sempurna Laurensius Candra welcomed the visit and conveyed the company’s openness to closer collaboration with the Ministry of Creative Economy, particularly in bridging the needs of creative economy talents for high-quality printing services.
“So far, the government sector has often appeared rigid to private players. However, today’s visit proves otherwise. The Ministry of Creative Economy is very open and reachable. Our hope is that future collaboration can encourage local IP to produce extraordinary works—creative products that are unorthodox and world-class,” explained Laurensius.

Its core strength lies in high print quality and advanced finishing technology that enables precise visual customization. Through this capability, the company plays an important role as a key node in the national creative supply chain.

The meeting also served as part of a collaborative agenda between the Ministry of Creative Economy / Creative Economy Agency and Bintang Sempurna entitled “Synergy of Photography and Printing for Indonesia’s Creative Economy”, which aims to foster cross-sector collaborative networks—connecting photographers, designers, local IP owners, and the printing industry—as a distribution hub for creative works. Initiatives such as this reflect a new direction in the development of Indonesia’s creative industry, which is increasingly integrated, oriented toward downstreaming, and supportive of young talent growth through globally competitive creative infrastructure.
