Kemenekraf dukung kerja sama dengan KISC 2025 untuk promosikan silat sebagai bagian dari ekonomi kreatif Indonesia, Jakarta, Rabu (16/04/2025).
“We see tremendous potential in collaborating with Kasundan to promote silat as part of Indonesia’s creative economy, and KISC 2025 is a strategic first step,” said Deputy Minister Irene during an audience with Padepokan Kasundan at the Pesona Indonesia Film Building, Jakarta, on Wednesday, April 16, 2025.
Padepokan Kasundan, an organization committed to the preservation, education, and development of arts, martial arts, and spirituality, has been the driving force behind KISC, which has been held annually since 2018. This year, the event will take place in Garut, West Java, in August, bringing together preservers, practitioners, and enthusiasts of pencak silat from around the world.
Deputy Minister Irene also supported Padepokan Kasundan’s efforts to make event registration more accessible and appealing to international participants. One suggestion she shared was offering competitive pricing and adequate facilities as part of an effective strategy.
“We can work with local creative industry partners to provide high-quality attributes and merchandise, as well as promote this event through social media and other online platforms,” said Deputy Minister Irene.
