Ministry of Creative Economy Receives INA Kreasi 2026 Delegation, Strengthens National Creative Ecosystem

Jakarta, 19 November 2025 – Minister of Creative Economy/Head of the Creative Economy Agency Teuku Riefky Harsya welcomed the initiative to host INA Kreasi 2026. The Minister emphasized that the event, initiated by Debindo Mega Promo, aligns with the government’s vision to position the creative economy as a new engine of growth by enabling local creative talents to reach international markets.

“We see INA Kreasi 2026 as an important platform to showcase the nation’s creative capacity. The event also supports our task of identifying and tracking local champions at the regency level to become national players. From there, we identify national champions to bring them to global markets,” said the Minister during the INA Kreasi 2026 audience at the Ministry’s office in Jakarta on Wednesday, 19 November 2025.

INA Kreasi 2026 adopts the theme “The New Engine of Growth”, underscoring the creative economy as a new driver of national growth starting from the regions. This platform will highlight the strength of 17 creative economy subsectors, connecting creators, industry players, investors, and the public in an integrated movement to strengthen Indonesia’s global competitiveness toward the 2045 Golden Indonesia vision.

The organizers explained that INA Kreasi 2026 will focus on exhibitions, art performances, workshops, business matching, fashion shows, association sessions, and creative competitions. The event is designed not only as a showcase but also as a space for education, cross-sector collaboration, and the creation of new business opportunities for creative industry players.

The year 2026 will also serve as a significant momentum to spotlight priority creative economy regions, including Aceh, North Sumatra, West Sumatra, Riau Islands, Banten, Jakarta, West Java, Central Java, Yogyakarta, East Java, Bali, East Kalimantan, South Sulawesi, Maluku, and Papua. The emphasis on these regions aligns with the National Creative Economy Roadmap and government priorities to strengthen regional capacity, advance downstreaming initiatives, and broaden investment opportunities.

Jeffrey Eugene T., President Director of Debindo Mega Promo, stated that INA Kreasi is an event intended to elevate several creative industry activities under the Ministry.

“The selected event dates, 23–25 October 2026, coincide with National Creative Economy Day on 24 October. Therefore, we hope this event can be held annually, and we dedicate it as the official event of the Ministry of Creative Economy,” he said.

Closing the meeting, the Minister reiterated that the creative economy has proven to be a significant contributor to the national economy, with strong potential for further growth.

“We support platforms that encourage national talent to perform with confidence, competitiveness, and global readiness. INA Kreasi 2026 is part of our collective effort to strengthen the creative industry as a backbone of the future economy,” affirmed the Minister.

In attendance were Debindo Mega Promo representatives including Project Manager Geraldine Nadya, Managing Director Srianti, Account Executive Novira, as well as Vice Chair of Indonesia Fashion Chambers (IFC) Lisa Fitria and PAPPRI Association Head of Public Relations and Media, Dan Media Setiabudi. The Minister was accompanied by Director of Visual Arts and Performing Arts, Dadam Mahdar.
