The Deputy Minister emphasized that the gaming and esports industry is one of the priority subsectors with significant potential to generate economic value. This ecosystem encompasses a wide range of creative professions, including game developers, publishers, designers, animators, streamers, esports athletes, and event organizers.
As part of its commitment to strengthening the ecosystem, the Ministry of Creative Economy facilitated collaboration between the global gaming industry and Indonesia’s local Intellectual Property (IP). One example is the collaboration between PUBG MOBILE and local IP TAHILALATS, which was featured as part of the PMGO 2026 series of activities.
