Ministry of Creative Economy Showcases Innovations from Nine Creative Economy Subsectors at the Peak of IDE.IND 2025

Jakarta, 12 December 2025 – The Ministry of Creative Economy / Creative Economy Agency held the peak event of IDE.IND 2025 at Sarinah, Jakarta, from 12–14 December, showcasing and marketing leading local products from nine creative economy subsectors. The event serves as a platform to strengthen local brands while stimulating regional economic circulation.

Wakil Menteri Ekonomi Kreatif, Irene Umar, menyampaikan sambutan pada acara IDE.IND 2025 di Sarinah, Jakarta, Jumat (12/12/2025).

“Indonesia is incredibly rich in culinary, craft, fashion, and design elements. The Ministry of Creative Economy continuously prepares creative talents, as each city has its own unique potential and products. This is the Ministry’s commitment to acting as a driving force for regional economies by providing opportunities for local products to be showcased,” said Deputy Minister of Creative Economy Irene Umar.

The event provides stages, exhibitions, and promotional platforms for local products from the subsectors of fine arts, performing arts, culinary, crafts, fashion, architecture, interior design, product design, and visual communication design. Earlier this December, IDE.IND had already reached Bandung. Jakarta was then selected as the location for the peak event to publicize the results of acceleration, training, and mentoring programs for creative economy practitioners from various regions, enabling them to penetrate the national market while positioning the creative economy as “the new engine of growth.”

“In essence, IDE.IND serves as a form of preparation to ensure local products are market-ready so they can generate a sustainable creative economy cycle. IDE.IND is a way to promote local products that helps encourage their continued development. In this way, we will continue to expand these products’ markets, not only nationally but also globally, creating a continuous journey,” the Deputy Minister continued.

In her report, Deputy for Cultural Creativity and Design, Yuke Sri Rahayu, expressed her hope that IDE.IND would play an important role in product marketing by increasing awareness and strengthening local brand positioning to attract consumer interest, particularly among residents of the capital.

“IDE.IND serves as a platform to demonstrate that local products resulting from acceleration and incubation processes are competitive in the national market. We hope everyone can take advantage of this opportunity to collaborate and further develop the Intellectual Property (IP) of the products that have been built. Continue to be proud of Indonesian-made products and support local creative products,” said Deputy Yuke.

In addition to exhibitions by curated participants, IDE.IND also features talk shows, product presentations, music performances, and quiz games for visitors at Sarinah. Several local brands and artists participating in IDE.IND 2025 include Sanggar Semarak Candrakirana Art Center, Sanggar Soerya Soemirat, artist Garis Kabe Muslim, artist Agustina Tri Wahyuningsih, artist Rudi Hendriatno, artist Febri Anugerah, as well as brands Magfood, Cokelatin, Mustofa Ibuemi, and Moonbitz.
