During the audience meeting, the Indonesia Creative Cities Network (ICCN) presented various initiatives aligned with the agenda of the Ministry of Creative Economy, particularly in supporting the implementation of policies at the regional level. ICCN’s presence as a strategic partner is considered capable of expanding the Ministry’s program reach through its member network spread across various provinces.

Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky Harsya added that, with its extensive member distribution, ICCN is expected to accelerate the implementation of ministerial programs across regions. A data-driven approach and cross-stakeholder collaboration are seen as key factors in strengthening the competitiveness of regional creative economies.

Meanwhile, Chairman of Indonesia Creative Cities Network (ICCN), TB. Fiki C. Satari, stated that the organization, which is now present in 38 provinces with 113 administrators and 628 regional coordination teams, has six deputy divisions aligned with the program clusters of the Ministry of Creative Economy. ICCN has also developed a data platform called Kompas Navigasi to support policy formulation at both the central and regional levels.

“The Creative Economy Policy Navigation Compass aims to map the potential, challenges, and characteristics of each regency and city. This map guides the government and stakeholders on who does what, how, and when, including the types of interventions needed in terms of human resources, incentives, research, and policy,” explained TB. Fiki C. Satari.

Through the Creative Economy Policy Navigation Compass, the Indonesia Creative Cities Network (ICCN) recommends action plans for transformation through: strengthening the ecosystem foundation, accelerating the PRIMA quadrant (Architecture, Visual Communication Design, Advertising, Performing Arts), targeted interventions for potential and emerging quadrants, as well as transforming underdeveloped quadrants (Culinary, Crafts, Fashion, etc.).
