Jakarta, 12 February 2026 – The Ministry of Creative Economy / Creative Economy Agency strengthened its action plan for regional creative economy development through a meeting with the Indonesia Creative Cities Network (ICCN). The discussion included the synergy between government programs and the creative city network in advancing creative economy development.
Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky Harsya received an audience with the Indonesia Creative Cities Network (ICCN) at the Office of the Ministry of Creative Economy, Jakarta, Thursday (12/2/2026).
“We see ICCN as a strategic partner of the Ministry, given the passion and seriousness of its management, both at the central and regional levels. It reflects not merely enthusiasm, but a level of understanding that can be transformed into data,” said Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky during the audience meeting held at the Office of the Ministry of Creative Economy, Jakarta, on Thursday, 12 February 2026.

During the audience meeting, the Indonesia Creative Cities Network (ICCN) presented various initiatives aligned with the agenda of the Ministry of Creative Economy, particularly in supporting the implementation of policies at the regional level. ICCN’s presence as a strategic partner is considered capable of expanding the Ministry’s program reach through its member network spread across various provinces.
Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky Harsya added that, with its extensive member distribution, ICCN is expected to accelerate the implementation of ministerial programs across regions. A data-driven approach and cross-stakeholder collaboration are seen as key factors in strengthening the competitiveness of regional creative economies.
Meanwhile, Chairman of Indonesia Creative Cities Network (ICCN), TB. Fiki C. Satari, stated that the organization, which is now present in 38 provinces with 113 administrators and 628 regional coordination teams, has six deputy divisions aligned with the program clusters of the Ministry of Creative Economy. ICCN has also developed a data platform called Kompas Navigasi to support policy formulation at both the central and regional levels.

“The Creative Economy Policy Navigation Compass aims to map the potential, challenges, and characteristics of each regency and city. This map guides the government and stakeholders on who does what, how, and when, including the types of interventions needed in terms of human resources, incentives, research, and policy,” explained TB. Fiki C. Satari.
Through the Creative Economy Policy Navigation Compass, the Indonesia Creative Cities Network (ICCN) recommends action plans for transformation through: strengthening the ecosystem foundation, accelerating the PRIMA quadrant (Architecture, Visual Communication Design, Advertising, Performing Arts), targeted interventions for potential and emerging quadrants, as well as transforming underdeveloped quadrants (Culinary, Crafts, Fashion, etc.).

Through strengthening its partnership with the Indonesia Creative Cities Network (ICCN), the Ministry of Creative Economy reaffirmed its commitment to building an integrated, data-driven, and sustainable creative economy ecosystem, in order to drive economic growth from the regional to the national level.
The audience meeting was attended by members of ICCN’s management, including Daily Chair Vicky Arief Herinadharma, Treasurer General Andre Dubari, Deputy Treasurer General Robby Herawan, as well as deputies and executive committee members.
Meanwhile, Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky Harsya was accompanied by Special Staff to the Minister for Strategic and Inter-Institutional Issues Rian Firmansyah, Director of Financing Access Development Anggara Hayun Anujuprana, Director of Infrastructure Facilitation Fahmy Akmal, Director of Marketing System Development Radi Manggala, as well as Expert Staff to the Minister Gemintang K. Mallarangeng.
