Jakarta, 13 April, 2026 – The Ministry of Creative Economy / Creative Economy Agency (Ekraf) is strengthening its collaboration with Provaliant Group to drive the commercialization of local intellectual property (IP). This initiative is expected to enhance the creative ecosystem while fostering sustainable economic growth.
Minister of Creative Economy / Head of the Creative Economy Agency, Teuku Riefky Harsya, received a delegation from Provaliant Group at the Ministry’s office in Jakarta on Monday (April 13, 2026).
The Minister emphasized the importance of synergy with various stakeholders to ensure the continuous growth of creative talents, enabling local IP to thrive and generate economic value for creators.
“We see that what Provaliant Group has done can effectively encourage the development of local IP creativity. We are certainly ready to collaborate so that each party can become more productive, ensuring that creativity does not stop at the launching stage but continues sustainably,” said the Minister during the meeting.
Provaliant Group has been active in the creative industry for more than 16 years, particularly in IP-based development and management. The company is recognized for bridging local and global brands with markets in Indonesia through strategic campaigns, licensed character collaborations, and interactive events.

“To commercialize IP, the Ministry needs to be connected with the banking sector, which is why we continue to develop an IP financing system. When local IP finds the right match, it can attract investment opportunities in the creative subsectors. Therefore, collaboration with Provaliant can be key in accelerating the downstreaming and commercialization of local IP,” the Minister added.
Meanwhile, CEO of Provaliant Group, Chandra Sugiono, emphasized the company’s commitment to building a local IP ecosystem that is not only creative but also supported by strong business models, including pop-up retail and events in commercial spaces. One of the notable IP activations is the Jakarta Toys and Comics Fair, held at Kartika Expo Center in early 2026 and attended by the Minister.
“The biggest challenge for local creators is ensuring that IP can sustain itself and generate value. Creating IP is easy, but building it to grow and produce results requires a strong ecosystem. This is where we aim to collaborate with the government,” he stated.

Both parties welcomed the initiative and opened opportunities for further collaboration, including policy support, ecosystem facilitation, and strengthening access to IP-based financing. This meeting is expected to mark the beginning of stronger synergy between the government and creative industry players in advancing local Indonesian IP to compete at both national and global levels, while serving as a key pillar of creative economy growth.
