Wakil Menteri Ekonomi Kreatif, Irene Umar, melakukan visitasi ke JAFF Content Market (JCM) 2025 digelar di Jogja Expo Center (JEC), Senin (1/12/2025).
“The strength of Indonesia’s creative economy lies in ideas and storytelling capability. JAFF Content Market proves that our local IP can stand on equal footing and is ready to be adapted into competitive screen-based works. The government will continue strengthening networks, curation spaces, and commercialization opportunities for creators,” said the Deputy Minister of Creative Economy at the event held at the Jogja Expo Center (JEC) on Monday, 1 December 2025.
The JAFF Content Market is part of the JAFF Market 2025 series, bringing together creators, producers, studios, publishers, and investors in a collaborative space. Through a rigorous curation process, this year’s JCM has selected ten original Indonesian IPs from various mediums—books, comics, music, games, and transmedia concepts.
During the visit, the Deputy Minister reviewed the pitching area, engaged directly with creators, and conveyed appreciation for JAFF’s commitment in opening market access for local works.

The Ministry of Creative Economy emphasized that platforms such as JCM play a vital role in connecting creators with industry networks, expanding market access, and fostering cross-subsector collaboration opportunities.
“We want more Indonesian IPs to scale up into films, series, or multi-product franchises. The creative industry ecosystem can only grow when creators are given space to meet investors, producers, and markets. JCM is a platform that bridges these connections,” added the Deputy Minister.
