Ministry of Creative Economy Supports Heli Expo Asia 2025 to Promote Indonesia as an Innovation Hub

Jakarta, March 3, 2025 – The Ministry of Creative Economy/Creative Economy Agency supports the Heli Expo Asia (HEXIA) 2025 as a platform to promote Indonesia as a hub for innovation in the air transportation sector. This initiative also strengthens collaboration between the creative industry and the aviation sector.

This was conveyed by the Minister of Creative Economy/Head of the Creative Economy Agency, Teuku Riefky Harsya, during a meeting with WhiteSky Group at Menara Merdeka, Jakarta, on Monday, March 3, 2025. Minister of Creative Economy Riefky emphasized the Ministry of Creative Economy commitment to promoting Indonesia as a center for innovation and investment in air transportation and the creative economy through strategic collaborations with various stakeholders, including the WhiteSky Group.

"The Ministry of Creative Economy is committed to making Indonesia a hub for innovation and investment in the air transportation and creative economy sectors through strategic collaboration," stated Minister of Creative Economy Riefky.

He highlighted that the partnership with WhiteSky Group in HEXIA 2025 is crucial for the creative industry, where the Ministry of Creative Economy will assist in promoting the event through various channels, such as LED Videotron or billboard advertisements in Jakarta, as well as social media platforms managed by DKJ Jakarta. HEXIA 2025, set to take place at Cengkareng Heliport, Tangerang, from June 23–29, 2025, will showcase helicopter and air mobility innovations across various industries.

"Collaboration with WhiteSky Group in Heli Expo Asia 2025 is essential to raising public awareness of the importance of the creative industry. We will promote this event through multiple channels," Minister of Creative Economy Riefky affirmed.

Meanwhile, Deputy Minister of Creative Economy/Deputy Head of the Creative Economy Agency, Irene Umar, suggested that the helicopter industry collaborate with the local property sector to enhance the added value and competitiveness of helicopters as an urban transportation mode. This collaboration is expected to create mutual benefits for both industries.

"The helicopter industry needs to collaborate with the local property sector to enhance the added value and competitiveness of helicopters as an urban transportation mode," said Deputy Minister of Creative Economy Irene.

At the same event, Denon Prawiraatmadja, President and Director of WhiteSky Group, stated that the meeting also discussed collaborations with local intellectual properties (IP) to support creative economy practitioners. Such collaborations would help boost enthusiasm among creative industry players by safeguarding royalties for designers and promoting their products.

"This meeting explored collaborations with local IP to support creative economy practitioners. These partnerships can increase enthusiasm among creative industry players," Denon stated.

"Heli Expo Asia 2025 is expected to spark public interest in learning more about the helicopter industry. Through collaboration with the Ministry of Creative Economy, we aim to shape the perception of helicopters as smart transportation," he added.

The meeting was also attended by the Ministry of Creative Economy Deputy for Creative Economy Strategic Development, Cecep Rukendi, along with WhiteSky Group’s Director of Business Development, Ari Nurwanda, and VP of Business Development & Data Center, Harry Pradipta.
