Held at the Auditorium of Gedung Film Pesona Indonesia in Jakarta on Monday, July 7, 2025. The event is a part of the ecosystem, strengthening the role of the creative economy as a talent-driven engine of national development.
"KOMIB is fantastic. This is not just training, but a national movement encouraging students to take part in building Indonesia through their unique potential. Out-of-school learning has a huge impact, especially on soft skills, teamwork, and self-competence. This is part of our effort to cultivate young talents ready to become Indonesia’s new engine of growth," said Deputy for Digital and Technology Creativity of the Ministry of Creative Economy, Muhammad Neil El Himam, during a panel discussion with participants.

As part of building a sustainable ecosystem, the Ministry of Creative Economy continues to strengthen programs for developing young digital talents. Initiatives include Bekraf Digital Talent, as well as programs like GIM Jam (a timed game development competition) and Gen Matic (Generasi Melek Teknologi), designed to provide access to digital literacy and entrepreneurship while promoting the creation of high-quality jobs within the creative economy sector.
Head of the Center for Creative Economy Human Resource Development, Siam Wahyuni, highlighted the importance of training from an early age. Wahyuni emphasized that youth empowerment must begin with approaches that encourage exploration, collaboration, and the use of technology as tools to compete in the era of the digital creative economy.

"KOMIB has helped me think more creatively and collaboratively. I also learned many essential soft skills needed for the workforce. Most importantly, never compare yourself with others—let their success be your motivation to keep growing," Grace added.
Through this event, the Ministry of Creative Economy and KOMIB reaffirm their commitment to shaping Golden Indonesia 2045 — a generation that is principled, competent, adaptive, and collaborative, ready to compete globally through a creative economy that is inclusive and relevant to future challenges.
