Jakarta, 15 August 2025 – Minister of Creative Economy, Teuku Riefky Harsya, expressed his appreciation for The Beauty, Fashion & Fragrance Festival (The BFF Festival) 2025. This large-scale creative event features more than 200 local brands alongside several international brands in the beauty, fashion, and lifestyle sectors.

“This is an outstanding event as it combines beauty products with fashion, bags, and various high-quality creative works. With continuous strengthening, these products have strong potential to penetrate international markets,” said Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky during his visit to the event held at the Jakarta International Convention Center (JCC) on Friday, 15 August 2025.
Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky further stated that the strength of Indonesia’s creative industry lies in cross-subsector collaboration. The synergy between fashion, beauty, skincare, and lifestyle is viewed as a way to enhance the competitiveness of Indonesian brands, both domestically and globally.
“Our products must become increasingly competitive and collaborative so that Indonesian brands gain greater recognition worldwide,” emphasized Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky.

Raffi Ahmad, in his capacity as Special Envoy to the President for Youth Development and Artistic Workers, also expressed his support for the event. He noted that The BFF Festival serves as a symbol of the growing momentum of the creative economy ahead of Indonesia’s Independence Day celebration.
“On the first day alone the venue was packed with visitors, targeting 30,000 attendees, and over three days it is projected to exceed 100,000 visitors,” said Raffi.
Raffi also highlighted the role of young people in fostering the creative industry. He shared that based on the organizer’s data, the majority of participating tenant owners are under 30 years old.
“This proves that Indonesia’s young generation is capable of adapting to business challenges while helping drive the nation’s economic growth,” he said.

Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky noted that youth participation in events such as The BFF Festival demonstrates that creativity is a key asset in building economic independence within the creative sector. He expressed hope that more young creators would be encouraged to innovate and compete in the global marketplace.
The Ministry of Creative Economy presence at the event reinforces the government’s commitment to supporting a sustainable and inclusive creative ecosystem, ensuring that its benefits are also felt across regions, in line with the spirit of equitable development and increasingly tangible economic independence.
Also present at the event was Hanifa Ambadar, CEO of Socially Significant Company, while Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky was accompanied by Deputy for Cultural and Design Creativity Yuke Sri Rahayu.
