Pipilaka, operating under the Pipilaka Foundation, focuses on educational, social, cultural, and artistic activities. Its programs aim to develop local animation with an environmental and humanitarian approach. During the meeting, Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky Harsya and Deputy Minister of Creative Economy Irene Umar emphasized the importance of strengthening the national animation industry ecosystem through the development of local IP.

"The more animators we have, the richer our creative landscape becomes. Animation requires agents of creativity, and the skills of our local animators are undeniable," said Ministry of Creative Economy Riefky.

Deputy Minister of Creative Economy Irene highlighted Pipilaka’s significant potential in advancing the animation ecosystem, particularly in terms of technology.

"Pipilaka excels in fundraising, which allows us to connect them with existing assets. Although their focus is primarily on children, small actions like this carry great meaning for future generations. Once a local IP is created, it can be expanded into merchandise or even collaborate with well-known local IPs," said Irene.

Furthermore, Irene mentioned that various activations and venues could accommodate Pipilaka’s animated works.

"Pipilaka could produce short animation videos for KAI (Indonesian Railways) and Soekarno-Hatta Airport to enhance the visibility of local animators. There are also venues like Taman Ismail Marzuki and Kota Tua Jakarta that could be used for immersive exhibitions. Pipilaka’s animation is not only a business endeavor but also a social initiative, allowing local IP development to create a broader impact," she added.

The name Pipilaka is derived from Sanskrit, meaning "ant." The philosophy behind Pipilaka reflects the spirit of teamwork, where small efforts can create a significant impact. The foundation focuses on organizing educational art events that support various humanitarian and environmental causes, engaging children through animation and live-action formats

"We see that Indonesian children possess great creativity in animation. They just need the right tools and opportunities to learn. Pipilaka continues to develop animation schools like DOES University, a non-formal and non-commercial talent school. We hope to collaborate with Ministry of Creative Economy/Creative Economy Agency to increase visibility," said Wahyadi Liem, Founder of Pipilaka.

Ministry of Creative Economy/Creative Economy Agency support is expected to further strengthen Pipilaka’s commitment to developing local IP through various creative initiatives based on immersive concepts. During the meeting, the Pipilaka Foundation also presented upcoming creative programs, where all works and activities will be reinvested into DOES University.
