Ministry of Creative Economy Supports "Ramadan Nostalgic" as a Joyful Bazaar

Jakarta, March 13, 2025 – The Ministry of Creative Economy/Creative Economy Agency supports Ramadan Nostalgic as a joyful and engaging bazaar. The event also serves as a platform to encourage the continued growth of local MSMEs.

Kemenekraf dukung Ramadan Nostalgic 2025 jadi bazar yang menyenangkan sekaligus wadah UMKM terus bertumbuh, Ratu Plaza, Kamis (13/03/2025).

Organized by Scarf Media, Ramadan Nostalgic is held from March 13 to 16, 2025, at Ratu Plaza, Jakarta, carrying the theme “Ramadan Nostalgic #localfirst.” Scarf Media, a media company focusing on fashion, beauty, health, lifestyle, and business content for the Muslim community—especially women—created this event to support local Muslim fashion and hijab products.

Open to the public with no entrance fee, the bazaar features 70 hijab and Muslim fashion brands offering their latest collections and special prices throughout the event. Participating local brands include Aleza and Ara. Modest, Dianable, Gerai Hawa, HSF Eyewear, Rhein Scarves, Senja, Vaia, Vivi Zubedi, Yara Scarves, Zaskia Sungkar, ZM Zaskia Mecca, and many more.

Manggar Sekar Ramandani, Retail Executive of ZM Zaskia Mecca, shared that the fashion products featured at the bazaar are offered at affordable prices for all. The latest collections are also being showcased.

“We’re participating in Ramadan Nostalgic at Ratu Plaza to present our newest pieces such as tunics, matching koko shirts for couples, and complementary accessories like scarves and hijabs. We’re offering special prices with tunics starting at Rp 349,000, printed scarves at Rp 50,000, and plain hijabs at Rp 35,000. Additionally, Kals Corpora Indonesia is bringing the Gerai Hawa brand, which focuses on more star Muslim fashion,” said Sekar.

Ramadan Nostalgic promises a calming and delightful shopping experience. Beyond Muslim fashion products, visitors can also find local goods such as shoes and eyewear at this must-visit Ramadan 2025 event.

“HSF Eyewear has been producing local eyewear since 2015. We now have four branches and often collaborate with popular hijabi influencers. At this event, we’re offering free lenses, free eye exams, and special discounts on selected eyewear models for men and women. We hope more people will recognize and support local brands because even with affordable prices, the quality is excellent,” said Safina Arsyara, Creative Social Media Lead of the Indonesian eyewear brand.

This year’s Ramadan Nostalgic also features a special Palestine themed installation by Dompet Dhuafa and a sustainable fashion installation by Glashka. At the Palestine booth, visitors can write messages of hope for Gaza and purchase merchandise to show their support for its people. Meanwhile, Glashka’s hand embroidery installation highlights appreciation for artisans preserving traditional craftsmanship in extraordinary fashion creations.

On the first day of the bazaar, many visitors expressed their hope that more MSMEs and local brands will gain exposure through events like this. They appreciated the participating brands and the initiative.

“The tenants here are amazing. I’ve noticed that fashion in Indonesia has grown rapidly—many local brands are rising in popularity. Some used to only join bazaars like this, but now they have flagship stores in malls due to their excellent quality. So there’s no need to hesitate when it comes to buying local products. I hope events like this can be held more frequently and not just for a few days maybe for an entire month so visitors from across Indonesia, not just Jakarta, can attend,” said a visitor named Irwansyah.

“I bought a blouse and skirt today actually for a group order from my friends. This event is great and so peaceful to shop at, no need to compete with other buyers. I even got the best deal 50% discount from the Zaskia Sungkar brand. I hope that we, as Indonesians, will continue supporting local MSME products to help advance the national economy,” said another visitor, Lala.
