Jakarta, 10 December 2025 — The Ministry of Creative Economy/Creative Economy Agency continues to advance technological innovation within the creative economy sector to strengthen access to employment opportunities for Indonesian youth. The principle of the new engine of growth remains a fundamental guiding force for the Ministry in driving this transformation.

This message was highlighted by Deputy Minister of Creative Economy Irene Umar during an audience with Temu Sejahtera Visiutama (TEMU), a social enterprise focused on improving job access for vocational graduates, including high school and vocational school students. The meeting also discussed cross-sector collaboration to accelerate the development of young talent ready to contribute to the growth of the creative economy.
“Models like TEMU demonstrate how creativity, data, and technology can serve as the new engine of growth. The Ministry of Creative Economy is committed to strengthening the use of intellectual property (IP) in accordance with Ministerial Regulation No. 6 of 2025, ensuring that Indonesian innovation gains sustainable economic value while supporting an inclusive, efficient, and competency-based recruitment ecosystem,” said Deputy Minister Irene during the meeting at Autograph Tower, Jakarta, Wednesday, 10 December 2025.
TEMU is an impact-driven startup that has developed standardized recruitment solutions since 2016. The platform provides digital CVs, candidate scoring systems, game-based onboarding, and data-driven job fair mapping.
These innovations aim to address industry demand for work-ready young talent, speed up candidate–company matching processes, and expand opportunities for vocational graduates to connect with industrial ecosystems, including the creative economy sector.

Deputy Minister Irene stressed that local technological innovation plays a strategic role in Indonesia’s employment ecosystem. She also emphasized that data standardization, competency alignment, and structured job-matching processes form essential foundations to ensure that innovations like TEMU genuinely meet industry needs, reduce mismatches, and strengthen the overall quality of Indonesia’s vocational talent.
Maral Dipodiputro, CEO & Founder of TEMU, stated that the discussion resulted in two major collaboration opportunities: first, integrating TEMU’s platform with the creative economy ecosystem to map workforce needs across the 17 creative subsectors more accurately; and second, enhancing business sustainability through data utilization and cross-industry digital asset monetization.

“We appreciate Deputy Minister Irene’s optimism and openness, and we hope this collaborative step can soon be implemented to strengthen the vocational employment ecosystem,” Maral said.
As a follow-up, the Ministry of Creative Economy will carry out technical mapping with TEMU to identify needs and collaboration mechanisms that can support youth capacity-building and strengthen the creative economy workforce ecosystem. This collaboration is expected to provide a meaningful contribution to accelerating digital transformation and expanding employment opportunities for Indonesia’s vocational graduates.
