Kemenekraf harap WPP Stream Indonesia 2025 bisa suarakan kekuatan Ekraf RI hingga luar negeri, Jakarta, Kamis (17/04/2025).

This was conveyed by Ranjana Singh, Chairperson of WPP Indonesia & Vietnam, during an audience with Deputy Minister of Creative Economy Irene Umar at the Pesona Indonesia Film Building in Jakarta. Deputy Minister Irene welcomed the invitation positively.

“We are delighted to collaborate with any international institution, including WPP, which is one of the largest agencies in the world. Through WPP’s extensive reach, the Ministry of Creative Economy can collaborate to communicate its programs to develop the creative ecosystem. We hope this message will resonate in other countries,” said Deputy Minister Irene during the meeting held on Thursday, April 17, 2025.

In addition to being an advertising agency that drives the growth of leading brands in Indonesia through creative transformation, WPP also integrates data- and technology-based creativity to deliver innovative solutions with a positive and sustainable impact. WPP Stream Indonesia is scheduled to be held on May 26–28, 2025, at Hyatt Regency Bali. WPP Stream is an interactive conference attended by players from the technology and creative industries.

Minister Teuku Riefky is invited as one of the speakers in a two-way communication format designed to help conference participants understand the Ministry’s efforts to drive Indonesia’s economic growth through creativity and innovation.

Ranjana Singh expressed her delight at the positive reception from the Ministry of Creative Economy. She emphasized that this would be the first time WPP had the opportunity to engage directly with the government, particularly the Ministry of Creative Economy.

“Personally, I am very excited to have a direct discussion with the Ministry of Creative Economy, which is deeply committed to advancing its country, not only within Indonesia but also in making it known internationally so the world recognizes Indonesia. Most importantly, we are very eager to work and collaborate with the Ministry, both in the short and long term,” said Ranjana.

Deputy Minister Irene further explained that many subsectors could be involved in supporting the upcoming conference. She hopes that this will elevate Indonesia’s creative economy sector, particularly the advertising subsector.

“Through what WPP does every year with WPP Stream, we can provide opportunities for those who may not yet have a platform to showcase their creativity. It is our responsibility to help match local creators with opportunities to present their work,” said Deputy Minister Irene.

During this audience, Deputy Minister Irene was accompanied by Deputy for Digital and Technology Creativity Muhammad Neil El Himam and Deputy for Media Creativity Agustini Rahayu.
