Wakil Menteri Ekonomi Kreatif, Irene Umar, memberikan sambutan pada kegiatan Hari Ekonomi Kreatif Nasional (Hekrafnas) yang berlangsung di Lippo Mall Nusantara, Jakarta, Jumat (24/10/2025).
“Over the past year, we have focused on positioning creativity as a new source of economic growth while also serving as a collaborative platform for young generations, communities, and industry,” said Deputy Minister Irene during the National Creative Economy Day (Hekrafnas) event organized by the Ministry of Creative Economy at Lippo Mall Nusantara, Jakarta, on Friday, 24 October 2025.
Deputy Minister Irene also emphasized the importance of strengthening the national creative economy ecosystem, from talent development to reinforcing cross-subsector networks. In line with President Prabowo Subianto’s Asta Cita, throughout 2025 the Ministry of Creative Economy under the leadership of Minister Teuku Riefky Harsya and Deputy Minister Irene Umar, together with #CreativeEconomyChampions, empowered thousands of practitioners across 38 provinces through programs such as Ekraf Hub, the Oktoberkreasi campaign, Buzz Talk x Volkswagen, the APOS CEO Forum, and various hexahelix collaborations involving government, academia, business, communities, media, and financial institutions.
These cross-sector initiatives have strengthened creative talent capacity, facilitated local brands, encouraged digital works and export-oriented products, and reaffirmed the creative economy as Indonesia’s new engine of growth, in line with the vision of Golden Indonesia 2045. Deputy for Strategic Development of the Creative Economy Cecep Rukendi expressed his appreciation to creative practitioners and partners.

Meanwhile, Rezza Artha, Chair of Hekrafnas from the National Creative Economy Movement (GEKRAFS), emphasized the importance of cross-sector synergy.
“The creative economy has become the backbone of national innovation. Collaboration between government, communities, and industry not only strengthens the ecosystem but also opens opportunities for Indonesia to compete in the global market,” he stated.
