Jakarta, February 10, 2025 – Deputy Minister of Creative Economy/Deputy Head of the Creative Economy Agency, Irene Umar, officially opened Indonesia Fashion Aesthetic (IFA) 2025 at the Intercontinental Hotel, Jakarta, on Monday, February 10, 2025. This event aims to strengthen the position of Indonesia's fashion and beauty industries in both national and international markets.

With the theme "The Precious," IFA 2025 serves as a platform for fashion and beauty industry players to network and showcase their innovations. The event features fashion and beauty shows, exhibitions, and an awards ceremony.
In her opening speech, Deputy Minister of Creative Economy Irene expressed her appreciation for the IFA 2025 event, seeing it as a positive step in driving the growth of Indonesia's fashion and beauty industry.

"This event proves that Indonesia's fashion and beauty industry has elevated its standards and is now ready to compete on a global scale. I appreciate the organizers for providing this crucial platform for industry players to grow," said Irene.
She also reaffirmed the Ministry of Creative Economy's commitment to supporting this sector through various initiatives aimed at improving product quality and expanding market networks.
"It's time for Indonesian fashion to dominate our own market and make a strong presence in the international scene," she added.

On this occasion, the Ministry of Creative Economy also participated in the IFA 2025 exhibition through the Ekraf booth, which featured fashion products from leading local brands, including Anantara from Yogyakarta and Adrie Basuki from Bogor. This participation is expected to further introduce and enhance appreciation for Indonesian fashion products on the global stage.
Chairwoman of IFA 2025, Devya Linda, emphasized that the support from the Ministry of Creative Economy, represented by Deputy Minister of Creative Economy Irene Umar, played a crucial role in the success of the event.
