Jakarta, March 5, 2025 – The Ministry of Creative Economy/Creative Economy Agency has partnered with the Public Broadcasting Institution Radio Republik Indonesia (LPP RRI) to develop strategic initiatives for fostering the creative economy at the regional level.

“We continue to collaborate across ministries and institutions, including RRI, which has extensive reach across the country. This Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) opens opportunities for the dissemination of information and increased literacy on the importance of the creative economy, reaching even the most remote areas,” said Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky.
Furthermore, in line with the Ministry’s vision to position the creative economy as a new engine for economic growth starting from the regions, this initiative aligns well with RRI’s role as a medium for information, education, and socio-cultural development for the public.

Teuku Riefky also expressed his deep appreciation for RRI’s commitment to facilitating its assets and resources as creative spaces for creative economy practitioners.
“RRI’s commitment to supporting the strengthening of the creative ecosystem in the regions is crucial. We specifically discussed how its broad reach and regional assets can be optimized to enhance the local creative economy,” he concluded.

The Minister of Creative Economy Riefky directly witnessed the signing of the MoU with RRI. At the same event, Ministry of Creative Economy also signed MoUs with three advertising associations: the Indonesian Advertising Companies Association (P3I), the Indonesian Out-of-Home Media Association (AMLI), and the Indonesian Advertising Production House Association (IRPII).

The MoU signing ceremony was attended by Ministry of Creative Economy officials, including Secretary of the Ministry/Chief Secretary Dessy Ruhati, Deputy for Media Creativity Agustini Rahayu, Director of Advertising Selliane Halia Ishak, Director of Television and Radio Pupung Thariq Fadhilah, and Director of Music Muhammad Amin Abdullah.
