Jakarta, 8 April 2026 – The Ministry of Creative Economy / Creative Economy Agency (Ekraf) is committed to continuously strengthening the creative economy sector as part of efforts to maintain national economic resilience amid global dynamics.
The Minister of Creative Economy, Teuku Riefky Harsya, attended the President of the Republic of Indonesia’s briefing at the Government Working Meeting with members of the Red and White Cabinet, along with all Echelon I officials of ministries/agencies and CEOs of state-owned enterprises, at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, Wednesday (8/4/2026).
This step aligns with the message delivered by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, during a briefing to the Red and White Cabinet at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, Wednesday (8/4).
In his directive, the President highlighted global dynamics marked by conflict and uncertainty, while emphasizing that Indonesia has been able to maintain the direction of national development and navigate various challenges with effective and reliable governance.
“Thank God, our government—of which you are all a part under my leadership—has, over the past one and a half years, been able to control the direction of our nation’s development. What we need is concrete work, tangible results for the people. Achievements must be measurable and directly felt by the people,” the President emphasized.
Following this directive, the Minister of Creative Economy, Teuku Riefky Harsya, reaffirmed that the creative economy sector will continue to be driven to deliver tangible impacts on the national economy.

“Hexahelix collaboration between government, industry, academia, communities, media, and investors is key to ensuring that the creative economy ecosystem grows rapidly, sustainably, and delivers direct benefits to society,” said the Minister.
The Minister added that the Ministry of Creative Economy is also strengthening support for creative MSMEs and advancing the digitalization of the creative industry to enhance competitiveness, while promoting international collaboration to expand the market for Indonesian creative products.
In line with the President’s directive, the Ministry of Creative Economy remains optimistic about positioning the creative economy as the new engine of growth, while creating quality jobs and strengthening national competitiveness. These efforts also align with the transformation toward a more productive and adaptive work culture through the #KitaMulaiCaraBaru campaign, as part of a collective step to reinforce national resilience.
