Jakarta, 17 August 2025 – President Prabowo Subianto witnessed firsthand the United Carnival, where the Ministry of Creative Economy presented a spectacular parade combining digital innovation with local intellectual properties as part of the achievements in the administration’s first 300 days.

Floats from ministries, state institutions, the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), the National Police (Polri), and State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) each featured prominent local IPs as creative representations of their institutions, enlivening the celebration of the 80th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia.
“Through the United Carnival, the government demonstrates the nation’s real collective energy. Creativity, innovation, and mutual cooperation are the main driving forces for progress, in line with the President’s six priority programs—Food Self-Sufficiency, Free Nutritious Meals, People’s Schools, Free Health Check-ups, Merah Putih Cooperatives, and Energy Self-Sufficiency—as the foundation toward a More Advanced Indonesia,” said the Minister of Creative Economy.

The parade, stretching from the National Monument area to the Hotel Indonesia Roundabout, reached its peak this evening. The United Carnival stands as a symbol of national unity.
Carrying the theme “United and Sovereign, Prosperous People, Advanced Indonesia,” the carnival emphasizes that Independence Day is not merely ceremonial, but a moment that showcases genuine unity between the government and the people in the journey toward Golden Indonesia 2045.

The parade served as a platform for cross-sector collaboration, with 32 decorated floats featuring innovation, achievements, and contributions of each institution to national development. Every vehicle was designed as a symbolic creative work visualizing real institutional contributions, accompanied by artistic and musical performances that enlivened the event.
The celebration also featured a spectacular drone show, water fountain performance, and fireworks display, blending light, technology, and music that captivated thousands of spectators. The entire series of events stood as a symbol of unity and national optimism in looking toward Indonesia’s future.
