Seefluencer Summit 2025: Ministry of Creative Economy Empowers Young Digital Creators

Jakarta, 22 November 2025 – The Ministry of Creative Economy/Creative Economy Agency reinforced its commitment to cultivating capable digital talent through collaboration with the Seefluencer platform at the Seefluencer Summit 2025. The event, themed “Now Everyone Can Go Viral,” successfully brought together 1,200 aspiring creators, digital MSMEs, and young entrepreneurs to accelerate their capacities in the digital space.

Menteri Ekonomi Kreatif, Teuku Riefky Harsya, memberi sambutan pada acara Seefluencer Summit 2025 di Artpreneur Ciputra World, Jakarta, Sabtu (22/11/2025).

Minister of Creative Economy/Head of Creative Economy Agency Teuku Riefky Harsya, quoting data from IDN Research Institute, highlighted that Indonesia has over 143 million active social media users, of whom 76% follow influencers and 68% have purchased products based on creator recommendations. Meanwhile, the YouTube Impact Report notes that the digital content sector has contributed more than IDR 7.4 trillion to the national GDP, with over 400,000 YouTube creators, each typically employing three people in their creative teams.

“These figures confirm that creators have become crucial connectors between audiences and brands. When creativity is professionally managed, its impact on the economy is tangible,” the Minister emphasized during his remarks at Artpreneur Ciputra World, Jakarta, on Saturday, 22 November 2025.

The positive economic impact is also evident in employment. According to 2025 BPS data, the creative economy sector employs 27.4 million workers, with 57.2% under the age of 42. Minister Riefky noted that this trend could help address Indonesia’s unemployment challenge, which reached 7.47 million, predominantly among individuals under 40 years old.

“This proves that the creative economy is a new space capable of absorbing young talent. With the right digital ecosystem, today’s generation can earn a decent income from their passion,” the Minister said.

Seefluencer is a community-based social media learning platform that empowers individuals through digital content. Since its establishment, the platform has produced over 1,500 alumni, accumulated more than 30 million followers, and generated over 15 billion views. Seefluencer has also expanded employment opportunities in the digital sector by strengthening personal branding, mentoring creator competencies, and providing ongoing guidance.

The collaboration between the Ministry of Creative Economy and Seefluencer was previously realized through the Gen Matic ASN X Seefluencer program, which trained around 55 civil servants (ASN) in personal branding and digital content skills. Participants gained expertise in content production, video editing, and effective public messaging strategies.

This year, Seefluencer Summit 2025 featured educational and inspirational sessions from key figures in the creative industry, including Co-Founder of Seefluencer Samuel Christ, Trader and Crypto Investor Sulianto Putra, Founder of Athena Group Dr. Richard Lee, and CEO of Pusat Gadai Indonesia Andrew Susanto. The event concluded with the graduation of Seefluencer University, reflecting the commitment to develop local creators capable of competing nationally and globally.

Minister Riefky emphasized that this collaborative program is part of Ekraf’s Talent Cluster, which aims to enhance both the capacity and income of creative economy practitioners. He hopes the Seefluencer Summit will nurture competitive creators who contribute to the national economic cycle.

“Indonesia does not lack talent. What we need is space, support, and courage. Let us make creativity the New Engine of Growth for economic independence and national revival,” said Minister Riefky.
