Paris, July 16, 2025 – Minister of Creative Economy, Teuku Riefky Harsya, visited GOBELINS, a leading animation and design school in France, to strengthen cooperation in developing Indonesia’s creative human resources. This visit follows the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed with the French Ministry of Culture in May 2025, focusing on talent exchange and the development of industry-based curricula.

“Partnering with GOBELINS is crucial for developing Indonesia’s creative human resources. They have proven their ability to produce world-class talents ready for employment, with a graduate absorption rate close to 100%. Their innovation in teaching and technology ensures that graduates remain relevant to the ever-changing needs of the industry,” said the Minister of Creative Economy during his official visit to GOBELINS School in Paris, France, on Wednesday, July 16, 2025.

The Minister of Creative Economy also emphasized the importance of continuous training programs for creative professionals to remain adaptive and competitive amid the dynamics of the global industry. During the visit, the Ministry of Creative Economy proposed several collaboration schemes for capacity development, including:
• Creative Talent Exchange
• Masterclass & Joint Workshop Series
• Digital Curriculum Co-Development
• Creative Educator Residency
Through this collaboration, the aim is to identify training and education programs from GOBELINS that align with the needs of Indonesia’s creative human resources, both in terms of implementation format and relevance to industry dynamics.
In addition, adopting the practice of direct industry involvement in the education process, as implemented by GOBELINS, is considered highly important.

During the visit, the Minister of Creative Economy was accompanied by the Secretary of the Ministry of Creative Economy, Dessy Ruhati; Deputy for Strategic Development of Creative Economy, Cecep Rukendi; and Director for Strategic Studies and Management, Agus Syarip Hidayat.
