Strengthening National Resilience, Ministry of Creative Economy Sends Civil Servants to Participate in Komcad Basic Military Training

Jakarta, 13 April, 2026 – The Ministry of Creative Economy / Creative Economy Agency (Ekraf) is committed to strengthening national resilience by deploying five Civil Servants (ASN) to participate in the Reserve Component Basic Military Training (Latsarmil Komcad) for Fiscal Year 2026. Minister of Creative Economy / Head of the Creative Economy Agency, Teuku Riefky Harsya, emphasized that the participation of the Ministry’s ASN in the Komcad program reflects a concrete contribution from the civilian sector in reinforcing national defense.

Head of the Bureau of Law, Human Resources, and Organization of the Ministry of Creative Economy, Mochammad Nurul Huda, along with participants of the Reserve Component Basic Military Training (Latsarmil Komcad) for Fiscal Year 2026, attended the departure ceremony for ASN Komcad participants at Monumen Nasional (Monas), Jakarta, on Monday (April 13, 2026).

“The participation of the Ministry’s ASN in the Komcad program is a strategic step to instill the spirit of national defense, discipline, and to strengthen the character of resilient and high-integrity civil servants. This aligns with our efforts to develop human resources who are not only creative but also possess a strong sense of nationalism,” said the Minister on Monday (April 13, 2026).

The ASN Komcad departure ceremony was organized by the Ministry of Defense at Monas, Jakarta. The five ASN participating in the training are Maulidia Fatimah Latifannisa, Andre Silaban, Ichlas Magribi, Melkion Daniel Timotius, and Adithya Yudha Firmandhika. Also present at the ceremony was Head of Bureau Mochammad Nurul Huda.

The Latsarmil program is a follow-up stage of the Komcad selection process, which involved approximately 2,000 ASN from various ministries and government institutions. The training will take place over approximately 45 days, focusing on character building, discipline enhancement, strengthening esprit de corps, and fostering the spirit of national defense.

Komcad itself is part of the universal defense system established under Law Number 23 of 2019 on the Management of National Resources for State Defense. Within this system, Komcad functions to strengthen the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) as the main component.

“The involvement of ASN in Komcad is a concrete step by the government to expand the foundation of national defense while instilling values of nationalism within the bureaucracy. ASN are not only implementers of public policy, but also bear responsibility in national defense efforts,” the Minister stated.

Through this program, participants are expected to develop both mental and physical readiness in facing various challenges, both in the context of national defense and in carrying out their duties as civil servants. This initiative is also aligned with the #KitaMulaiCaraBaru movement as part of a work culture transformation to sustainably strengthen national resilience.

The Ministry’s participation in the Komcad program underscores its commitment to building professional, adaptive, and resilient civil servants, while actively contributing to safeguarding the sovereignty and unity of the Republic of Indonesia.
