Jakarta, 20 June 2026 – Deputy Minister of Creative Economy/Deputy Head of the Creative Economy Agency (Ekraf), Irene Umar, expressed support for the integration of the entertainment ecosystem with digital financial services during her visit to the Allo Bank Festival 2026 at Indonesia Arena, Jakarta, on Saturday (20/6).

This initiative aligns with the Ministry’s mission to strengthen the commercial infrastructure of the music industry and expand market access for creative economy practitioners, thereby contributing to national economic growth.
“Collaborations like this demonstrate how digital innovation can expand market access, enhance audience experiences, and create new economic opportunities for creative economy players, including musicians and the businesses that support them,” said Irene Umar.
She added that the visit also provided an opportunity to observe firsthand how large-scale music festivals contribute to economic value creation, job generation, and the strengthening of the creative industry value chain.
“We want to ensure that the growth of the commercial music festival industry is accompanied by fair protection and stronger economic value for all artists and creative workers involved. Major festivals like this should establish new standards in stage management, promotion, and the sustainable commercialization of music products,” she added.

The Allo Bank Festival is an annual all-in-one music festival that has been held since 2022. The event combines live music performances, culinary experiences, and a variety of interactive activities, making it one of Indonesia’s largest commercial music festivals. It features artists from diverse genres and market segments, ranging from pop and dangdut to global K-pop acts, including South Korean boy group CORTIS, in order to reach a broad audience.
The festival attracted significant public interest, drawing approximately 15,000 visitors and featuring 15 MSME booths. The main event took place from the afternoon into the evening, with performances by a number of prominent artists, including Tenxi, Nassar, NPD, Naykilla, Juicy Luicy, and solo artists Mahalini and Rizky Febian.
The event highlights the potential of cross-sector collaboration in strengthening the creative economy ecosystem. The integration of the live music industry, digital technology, and financial services is expected to create broader business opportunities, increase economic value, and further support the creative economy as one of Indonesia’s new engines of growth.
