Strengthening the Digital Ecosystem, the Ministry of Creative Economy Explores Collaboration with Associations and Digital Ecosystem Bodies

Jakarta, 12 March, 2026 – The government continues to encourage the strengthening of digital infrastructure and support for various associations and stakeholders within the technology ecosystem. Optimizing collaboration among three digital associations and the KADIN Digital Ecosystem Body is considered important for the development of the creative economy as the new engine of growth for the national economy.

Minister of Creative Economy/Head of the Creative Economy Agency, Teuku Riefky Harsya, received an audience with representatives from the National Information and Communication Technology Entrepreneurs Association (APTIKNAS), the Indonesian Digitalization and Cybersecurity Association (ADIGSI), the Indonesian Fintech Association (AFTECH), and the Digital Ecosystem Body of KADIN Indonesia at the Ministry of Creative Economy Office, Jakarta, Thursday (12/03/2026).

“Through this collaboration, we can support a technology-based ecosystem, including aspects closely related to talent development, market access, funding schemes, and many other areas that greatly assist the Government. Today’s exploration of collaboration is very important to strengthen Indonesia’s digital ecosystem,” said the Minister of Creative Economy.

The meeting served as a strategic discussion forum to align government programs with industry initiatives in promoting the growth of digital talent, technological innovation, and the strengthening of the ecosystem.

The audience was attended by three associations: the National Information and Communication Technology Entrepreneurs Association (APTIKNAS), the Indonesian Digitalization and Cybersecurity Association (ADIGSI), the Indonesian Fintech Association (AFTECH), as well as the Digital Ecosystem Body of KADIN Indonesia.

On that occasion, the Minister of Creative Economy also presented the 8 ASTA EKRAF programs, which include Ekraf Data, Ekraf Bijak, Ekraf Talent, Ekraf Infrastructure, Ekraf Synergy, Ekraf Market, Ekraf Fund, and Ekraf Kaya.

“From these programs, we can determine which areas to collaborate on—whether in policies and regulations that support the ecosystem, talent development, or strengthening commercialization and financing based on intellectual property. Through this approach, technology-based creative products and works can grow from the local level to the national stage, and even reach the global market,” explained the Minister of Creative Economy.

Representatives of the digital associations also presented several initiatives to strengthen the technology ecosystem in Indonesia, including enhancing cybersecurity, developing digital talent, and aligning cross-sector collaboration to support sustainable innovation.

“We established APTIKNAS to build the future of Indonesia’s digital industry. Digitalization indeed provides convenience, but on the other hand it also opens potential risks such as fraud and cybercrime. Therefore, we must build cybersecurity and digital trust to strengthen Indonesia’s digital economic ecosystem,” said Chairman of APTIKNAS, Soegiharto Santoso (Hoky).

The discussion continued with the exploration of potential program synergies from various Directorates within the Ministry of Creative Economy in developing digital talent, increasing the capacity of the cybersecurity technology industry, and strengthening cross-sector collaboration to support national digital transformation. In addition, ADIGSI also emphasized the development of human resource competencies through digital security literacy to address increasingly complex cyber threats.
