The creative economy is expected to continue its rapid growth, enabling Indonesian creativity to become a source of foreign exchange for the nation.
“The Ministry of Creative Economy also appreciates strategies that shift the poverty alleviation paradigm from coordination to collaboration, from programs to transformation, and from empowerment to self-reliance. Let us continue to move forward together, creating impact and empowerment,” Dessy Ruhati added.
The one-year anniversary event of the Coordinating Ministry for Community Empowerment also discussed achievements and future directions focused on poverty reduction. Approximately 8.4 million poor and vulnerable families have received social protection, while 1.3 million poor families have benefited from direct cash assistance funded by village funds.

“Every rupiah spent from the state budget must be oriented toward community empowerment,” said Coordinating Minister for Community Empowerment Abdul Muhaimin Iskandar.
In presenting the ministry’s achievements, the Coordinating Minister emphasized empowerment as a new paradigm that enables communities to build productive and independent capacities through an ecosystem that allows Indonesia to continue progressing.
“Empowerment is not merely a slogan, but a paradigm for fulfilling the state’s responsibility to support communities to become more productive and empowered. Community empowerment and poverty alleviation are not just programs, but constitutional obligations. Ministries, agencies, and regional governments must continue to synergize so that empowerment is maximized, meaning empowering communities through optimal use of available budgets,” said Abdul Muhaimin Iskandar.
