“Indonesia has enormous creative talent and a strong market. The meeting followed a previous audience between the Ministry of Creative Economy and Big Ground Entertainment that discussed potential synergies in the Indonesia–Korea music industry, including music talent development, joint production of creative works, and expanding access to international stages through strengthening the music intellectual property (IP) ecosystem. Deputy Minister Irene emphasized that cross-country collaboration is a strategic step to expand access to the global market while strengthening the capacity of national creative industry players.

She added that the development of music IP, the production of collaborative works, and the organization of cross-country performances could serve as catalysts for the growth of the music subsector as part of the creative economy, which the government continues to promote as the new engine of growth.
