Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky Harsya during a visit to Rajawali TV (RTV) at the Rajawali TV Headquarters, Jakarta, Wednesday (11/2/2026).
“It is believed that the creative economy has already become a new engine of economic growth in other countries, but again, the Ministry cannot do this alone. We need partners from the media, such as the Rajawali Group, to collaborate in addressing the challenges within the creative economy industry,” said Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky Harsya at the Rajawali TV Headquarters, Jakarta, on Wednesday, 11 February 2026.
He added that cross-sector collaboration is key to realizing the creative economy as a new engine of national economic growth. According to Minister Teuku Riefky, the involvement of the media plays a crucial role in expanding promotional reach, strengthening public literacy, and enhancing the competitiveness of creative economy players. The media is seen as an essential bridge connecting local creativity with national and global markets.
“For that reason, we need collaboration, as it can realize a new engine of national economic growth starting from the regions, where the potential is spread across various areas,” he said.
Meanwhile, RTV President Director Artine Savitri Utomo stated that RTV has been broadcasting nationwide since its establishment on 3 May 2021. Currently, RTV targets the family segment with a variety of programs, including animated shows that support the development of domestic creative content.
