The showcase highlighted the vital role of women as the new engine of growth in the creative economy.
Deputy Minister of Creative Economy Irene Umar attended the fashion show in person during the Harmoni Imlek Nusantara 2026 series at Lapangan Banteng, Jakarta, on Thursday (26/2/2026).
“The products showcased today demonstrate how the creative economy grows from ideas, creativity, and innovation. This is a tangible form of support to ensure that creative economy works become more widely recognized, appreciated, and competitive,” said Deputy Minister Irene while directly observing the fashion show featuring works by creative economy tenants at Lapangan Banteng on Thursday, February 26, 2026.
This activity serves as a tangible form of support from the Ministry of Creative Economy / Creative Economy Agency for the development of creativity and local products within the community. The fashion show featured a diverse range of products from various creative economy subsectors, including Nusantara textile-based fashion, clothing, bags, shoes, as well as accessories and craft products.

In one of the sessions, women creatives took the stage to present and represent these works. Deputy Minister Irene stated that the fashion presentation serves as both a platform for appreciation and a showcase for creative economy products born from innovation, creativity, and the courage of business actors to present their work directly in public spaces.
During a business coaching session on February 24, 2026, Deputy Minister of Creative Economy Irene emphasized the importance of storytelling, branding, and effective business management for tenants. The fashion show held today serves as one of the implementations of these recommendations, where each product is framed with a strong narrative and creative identity, making the works more recognizable, आकर्षive to visitors, and opening opportunities for cross-sector collaboration.
