Bekasi, June 3, 2025 – The Ministry of Creative Economy, through the Directorate of Access to Funding, Financing, and Investment Development, organized a Business Literacy program for creative economy entrepreneurs in Bekasi. This initiative aims to strengthen business management capacity, improve access to financing, and mitigate financial risks in the digital era.

Held in collaboration with the Financial Services Authority (OJK), BNI, and FIFGroup (Finatra), the program gathered creative economy players who received practical insights to run their businesses professionally, innovatively, and sustainably.
“Through this program, we want to encourage entrepreneurs to be better prepared in facing challenges while also seizing opportunities in the digital economy,” said Deputy for Creative Economy Strategic Development Cecep Rukendi at the event in Bekasi on Tuesday, June 3, 2025.
Meanwhile, Head of West Java Region 2 FIFGroup, Hendra Sugara Martha, emphasized the crucial role of financial institutions in supporting creative MSMEs. “We want to ensure that entrepreneurs understand the financing services available and utilize them effectively for business development,” he stated.
Head of Creative Economy Division of the Bekasi City Tourism and Culture Office, Elia Ray Mi'Raj Gusleonardo, highlighted the city’s strong creative potential, while West Java Regional House of Representatives member Ronny Hermawan reaffirmed legislative support for strengthening MSMEs and the creative economy.
“Local talent must be empowered through education and mentoring so they can compete and contribute to regional economic growth,” said Elia.
“Business literacy is a path to empowerment. This sector has proven to be the backbone of the national economy,” Ronny added.
The event began with a session titled Introduction to Business Literacy delivered by the Director of Access to Funding, Financing, and Investment Development, Anggara Hayun Anujuprana, who explained the fundamental principles of managing creative businesses.

The next session, Beware of Illegal Investments, Online Loans, and Digital Gambling, was presented by Iman K. Nugraha from OJK West Java, who underlined the importance of vigilance against illegal financial practices that often trap entrepreneurs.
From BNI, Chandra Bagus Sulistyo delivered a session on Banking Financing Programs, covering loan access and funding schemes available for entrepreneurs.
Representing FIFGroup, Riezky Candra Novariz presented two topics: Entrepreneur Mindset vs. Seller, which distinguishes entrepreneurial thinking from conventional selling, and Independent Business Analysis, which guided participants in identifying opportunities and business risks.
Director Anggara Hayun closed the program with the hope that the initiative will provide a strong foundation for creative economy entrepreneurs. “Improving literacy will foster resilient, adaptive, and competitive entrepreneurs,” he said.
The Ministry of Creative Economy remains committed to delivering educational and collaborative programs to drive the growth of the creative economy as a new engine of national economic development.
