The Minister of Creative Economy emphasized that the amount of Indonesia’s creative potential must be accompanied by the ability to develop and commercialize works to add a higher value to the economy.
“Indonesian creators possess creative and innovative potential. The main obstacle is how to ensure this creativity to bring in higher economic value. Therefore, we require collaboration and best practices from the global industry partners to strengthen the capacity of creative industry practitioners, not only in Jakarta, but also in various regions,” Minister of Creative Economy stated.

Tencent also opens opportunities for Indonesian studios to receive mentoring and access to global networks, including publication opportunities for their works.
This collaboration also consists of game and esports talent development through mentoring pathways and competitive activities. Games can also be utilized as a medium to introduce local culture by involving Indonesian creators and communities, ensuring development not only unlocks business opportunities, but also expands the reach of Indonesian stories.
