Jakarta, 6 March, 2026 – Minister of Creative Economy/Head of the Creative Economy Agency, Teuku Riefky Harsya, received an audience with the MS Glow team regarding the plan to organize the MS Glow for Men Malang Half Marathon 2026 at Autograph Tower, Jakarta. The meeting discussed collaboration in developing sports tourism while strengthening the potential of the regional creative economy.
The Minister of Creative Economy, Teuku Riefky Harsya, received the MS Glow team to discuss the plan for the MS Glow for Men Malang Half Marathon 2026 at the Ministry of Creative Economy Office in Jakarta on Friday (March 6, 2026).
The Minister assessed that the MS Glow for Men Malang Half Marathon 2026 is a strategic initiative that not only presents a sporting event but also opens opportunities to promote local products and creativity. Therefore, the Ministry of Creative Economy welcomes and supports this event as an effort to strengthen the regional creative economy ecosystem.
“This event is not only a sporting competition, but also a platform to introduce the creativity of Malang’s young generation and local products to the national level. We are ready to support the organization so that it runs successfully and creates broad impacts for the creative economy of Malang City. Initiatives like this are also in line with efforts to make the creative economy the new engine of growth that grows from the regions,” said the Minister of Creative Economy, Teuku Riefky Harsya, on Friday (March 6).
Meanwhile, the Founder of MS Glow and organizer of the Malang Half Marathon, Gilang Widhia Pramana, explained the concept of the event, which integrates sports tourism with efforts to strengthen the local creative economy ecosystem in Malang.

“We are organizing the MS Glow for Men Malang Half Marathon 2026 with a race route that highlights local products while involving creative communities and various stakeholders of the creative economy. This event provides a unique experience for participants while encouraging the growth of MSMEs, the creative economy, and introducing Malang culture to a wider audience,” said Gilang Widhia Pramana.
The activity is expected not only to serve as a sporting event but also as a showcase for various creative economy subsectors, ranging from local brands and culinary MSMEs to creative professionals in content creation, photography, and entertainment. Through this initiative, the event aims to further strengthen the creative economy ecosystem in Malang.
The MS Glow for Men Malang Half Marathon 2026 will be held on April 26, 2026 in Malang, targeting around 7,000 participants across several race categories, including Half Marathon (21K), 10K, and 5K.
With support from the Ministry of Creative Economy through strengthened promotion and publication amplification, MS Glow and its partners hope that the Malang Half Marathon can grow into a national-scale sporting event capable of driving the region’s creative economy potential while strengthening Malang’s image as a national creative city.
